Change questions with AI

The AI can reshape questions you already have. It always shows you its suggestion first. Nothing changes in your quiz until you accept it, and nothing is saved until you select Save.

  1. On a question card, select AI.
  2. Choose an action:
    • Make easier: simpler words and clearer wrong answers, same idea.
    • Make harder: closer reading and more tempting wrong answers.
    • Rewrite: new wording for the same idea.
    • New distractors: fresh wrong answers. This appears on multiple choice and select-all questions only.
    • Add answer feedback: a short note for each wrong choice.
  3. Wait a few seconds. An AI suggestion box appears under the card showing the new question, its choices with the correct one marked, and any explanation.
  4. Select Use this to replace your question, or Discard to keep it.

If you do not like the result, run the same action again for another version.

Use Refine with AI near the top of the editor when you want to change many questions at once.

  1. Select Refine with AI.
  2. Pick a quick idea or write your own instruction. The quick ideas are Easier, Harder, More questions, Simpler words, Add feedback and Mix question types. Selecting one fills in the instruction box, and you can edit the words. An instruction might read: “Add two harder questions on theme and make question 3 easier.”
  3. To change only some questions, turn on Only selected questions. A checkbox appears on each card (“Change question 4 with AI”). Tick the ones you want.
  4. Select Suggest changes.

Please do not put student names in your instruction.

Lubna lists every change as a card:

  • Question 3 changed shows each part side by side, with the old text crossed out in red and the new text highlighted in green.
  • New question after 5 (or at the end) shows the new question.
  • Question 7 removed shows what would be taken out.

Each card has a checkbox. Untick any change you do not want. Then:

  • Accept all applies every change.
  • Apply selected applies only the ticked ones.
  • Reject all closes the review and changes nothing.

If some suggestions were unusable, Lubna says how many were left out.

After you apply changes, an Undo refine button appears. Select it to put your questions back exactly as they were before. The note after applying reads, for example, “Applied: 2 changed, 3 new, 0 removed. Nothing is saved until you save the quiz.”

  • Before the AI runs, Lubna checks that your questions are complete. If one is not, it tells you which one to fix.
  • The AI sees your questions, grade and subject. It never sees student names.
  • AI edits work on the unsaved version in your editor. Leave the page without saving and they are gone.
