Weekly review

Weekly review gives every student a short set of practice questions built from their own recent work. It mixes older questions they missed with skills they are still building. You preview every set before students see it.

Open a class and select the Activities tab. The Weekly review card is there.

  1. Check Week starting Monday. It starts on the current week. Change the date to work on another week.
  2. Select Generate for this week.
  3. Wait while Lubna gathers the week’s results, removes names on your device and writes each set. This can take a minute or two for a big class.

When it finishes, you see a message like “18 drafted · 3 skipped · 0 failed.”

A student gets a set when they took part in at least two activities that week (live quizzes, homework or similar) and there is enough evidence for eight questions. Students without enough evidence are skipped. Weekly review works for classes of up to 35 students.

Each set mixes questions the student missed one to three weeks ago, skills they are weakest at, a few questions they answered correctly some time ago, and a topic from a recent exit ticket where confidence was low. Original quiz questions are reused as they were. New practice questions are written by the AI.

Each student is a row showing a code or name, the status and number of questions. Select a row to open it. For each question you see the text, where it came from, the choices with the correct one ticked and the explanation.

While a set is still a draft you can:

  • Regenerate item 3 for a new version of that question, or
  • Remove item 3 to drop it. A set must keep at least eight questions.

When you are happy:

  1. Set a Due date (optional). It is informational. Late practice still works.
  2. Select Release all drafts.

After release, the card shows a Class review code. Share it with the class, or use Open student link to show the page. Students enter the code and their own student code. See Practice for students.

Released sets can no longer be edited.

The card counts how many sets are complete. For each standard with enough data, you see a line like “RL.7.1: 50% to 70%”. That compares performance before with the answers on the review. Select Refresh results to update.

  • Names stay on your device. Before anything goes to the AI, Lubna replaces student names and codes in the context it sends.
  • Short answers in a review are not auto-graded.
  • You can run weekly review again later in the week. Students who already have a set are skipped.
