Lesson videos

Lubna can suggest short YouTube videos that match a lesson. You decide which ones to keep, and you play them for your class from the lesson page.

  1. Open a saved lesson plan. Scroll to Videos in Activities for this lesson.
  2. Choose Suggest relevant videos.
  3. Lubna shows a few videos with a picture, title, channel and length. Lubna prefers well known education channels and shorter videos, and it uses safe-search settings for school.

You can also tick Suggested video under Also create when you make a new lesson. Lubna then adds the best match for you to review.

Choose Check fit on a suggestion. Lubna reads the video and points to a spot that matches your lesson goals. It shows a short note and fills in suggested Start (seconds) and End (seconds) times. Change the times if you want.

  • Choose Add on a suggestion to attach it to the lesson.
  • Or paste a YouTube link into Paste a YouTube link and choose Add link.

Attached videos appear in a list. Use the arrows to reorder them, and Remove to take one off.

Choose Present next to an attached video. It opens full screen and starts at your start time. Choose Close when you are done.

  • Videos are for you only. Students do not see them on their devices. You show them on your screen.
  • Lubna only searches by your lesson title, grade, subject and goals. No student information is used.
  • Always watch the video first. Suggestions are a help, not a guarantee.
