Welcome to Lubna
Lubna helps you plan, teach and follow up, all in one place. You can run live game-style quizzes, plan lessons and courses, make worksheets and exit tickets, assign homework, and ask a teaching assistant for help. Lubna is built for US K-12 teachers, and it is designed so that your students’ names stay private.
The class is the hub
Section titled “The class is the hub”Almost everything in Lubna starts with a class. A class holds your students (as private codes), the quizzes and homework you run with them, their exit tickets, the results, and your plan for the year.
Here is how the pieces fit together.
- Classes hold your students. Each student gets a short code, like
S-4F2A. Real names stay on your device. See Student names stay on your device. - Library holds the things you make once and use again: courses, lessons, quizzes, exit tickets and worksheets.
- Activities are what you run with a class: a live quiz, homework, an exit ticket or a weekly review.
- Results show how students did, so you can plan what to teach next.
When you open a class, Lubna remembers it as your current class. Quiz, homework and conference forms then start with that class already chosen.
Where to start
Section titled “Where to start”If you are new, three steps get you going. They also appear on your dashboard the first time you sign in.
- Create a class and add your students.
- Plan a lesson with the assistant, or make a quiz.
- Run a live quiz with your class.
After that, look at your results and try follow-up practice for students who need another go.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Lubna is in a pilot, so sign-up is by invitation. See Sign in to Lubna.
- Your dashboard is the home base. A tour is on Your dashboard.
- Student names never leave your browser, and the AI only ever sees codes. Read more in How Lubna protects students.
- Students have their own help pages. Share the student guide with them or their families.
