Homework and practice

Homework and practice let you work at your own pace. There is no countdown clock.

  1. Go to Join a quiz.
  2. Type the code from your teacher. Tap Next.
  3. Enter your student code and join.

Lubna knows it is homework and opens it for you. Answer one question at a time.

After each answer you see if you were right. If you missed it, you also see the correct answer. Sometimes there is a short explanation. Then tap Next question. If you get a second try, tap Try again. At the end you see Homework finished! and your score.

You do not have to finish in one go. Close the page whenever you want. When you come back, Lubna opens the first question you have not answered yet. Your earlier answers are saved.

If your teacher set a due date, you will see “Due” and the date at the top. Try to finish before then.

After a quiz, you may get practice on the skills that were tricky. Open it from the end of the quiz with See your practice work, or from your To do list.

Some questions have Show a hint. Tap Check answer to see if you are right. For written answers, you will read “Here is how to think about it” instead. Practice is for learning, so it is okay to miss one.

If you see “Your teacher is preparing your practice,” check back in a little while.

Your teacher might give you a weekly review. It is about ten minutes of practice to help your learning stick. If you signed in with your school, it shows in your To do list. You can also tap Enter a review code on your home page, type the review code and your student code, and tap Start review.

Your home page has a To do list with exit tickets, homework and practice. Weekly reviews show here too if you signed in with your school. Tap one to start or keep going. It shows how many questions you have done and when it is due. When everything is finished, you will see “All caught up. Nice work!” Finished work shows under Done recently.
